● It is a cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
● As of 2020, it is the largest cricket stadium in the world.
● It was in the news recently as the ‘Namaste Trump’ event was organised
at this stadium.
Sawai Mansingh Stadium
● It is a Cricket Stadium.
● Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
● It is named after Sawai Man Singh II, the erstwhile ruler of the princely
state of Jaipur.
Captain Roop Singh Stadium
● Located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
● The ground has flood lights and has hosted day-night encounters.
● It was originally a hockey stadium named after great Indian hockey player
Roop Singh who was part of the Indian hockey team which won gold
